You can refer to the comments I just made to jfishburn on this same piece There are parameters and a "fixed" version of esplits in bubbles. I don't know what's wrong with apo's xaos on your system, but as I told him, tutorial is bad and should feel bad, I really need to rewrite it.

Hmmmmmmmm. Interesting. While doing the xaos portion setting anything higher than 1 changes the xaos in both 'to' and 'from'. Happened to both me and someone else. Know why that is? I'm using 7x 15D I think.

I honestly have no idea, lol. I actually saw this post the other day and thought to myself, "You know what, that really needs to be revised." Because it does. There's a few problems with this particular tutorial that just makes it... hard? Bad? I don't know.

Presently a setup similar to the one I used here (seashells, microcosms ) would be useful:

The main idea being that you need to work with container transforms in what I guess is the "hybrid" technique (you can found it described very simply here: Hybrids tutorial (by piethein21) )

In this one, note that I just set 1 and 0 instead of weird numbers. The first structure - the elliptic splits - goes only to a container (xform 5). For whatever reason I then put that container into another elliptic splits, so 5 goes to one blur transform (I just picked whichever was clearest) and to the xforms of the next structure. I put that structure into a hemisphere, to "crop" it into a circle - so the transforms for the 2nd esplits goes into the hemisphere xform. The hemisphere then gets put into a second container. I then put it into a halfplane.

In order to apply this to putting "stuff" in spherical bubbles, you'd follow a similar technique: make the base structure, put it into a hemisphere container, then apply the spherical bubbles part of the fractal, using that container hemisphere instead of hemis + preblur. In this instance I figure you'd need two instead of one, to fill all the holes in the gasket.

Or maybe you know a way to fill a single bubble with elliptic splits so it's easier to control the movement of it like putting it in hypertile or cloning it with linear or something like that?

So sorry it took so long for me to get back to you! School semester just started up again, and I needed to be attentive to class.

Something to clear up: it's almost impossible to make these structures without having ghosts in the image. If you try, you end up with a fairly empty fractal:

puu.sh/F2FTm/bebca669ae.png

Some steps I took here:

1. Added cylinder pipes. I'm kinda dumb and don't know how to do containers without a blur transform to go back to.

2. Turned the opacities of TX1-TX4 to 0

3. Put TX1-TX4 into a container transform:

4. turned the container into the hemispheres using linked xforms:

5. then put the hemispheres into a spherical gasket and tweaked the weights, as well as the colors to make it easier to see:

Thanks

Alas we were unable to figure it out. I tried setting everything with 8/11 to 1 and everything else remained at 0 but that didn't work.

I think my friend wants something closer to what is seen after the xaos section. Nothing but bubbles filled with elliptic splits with a black background and then he can distribute and move them as he sees fit. Neither of us are very experienced with tons of transforms, containers, blurring filters, or structured xaos setups. Reading about it doesn't seem to help me much

So far all I've been able to get are bubbles with messy elliptic splits everywhere not just in the bubbles. I'm pretty sure I followed all of the steps right and it's just the xaos that needs work. If you have the time, could you please take a look at it?
