Description β€œSuffering is permanent, obscure and dark, And shares the nature of infinity” - William Wordsworth

Can't think of much to say... yet... So I'm just going to ramble on a bit.

The colors are very very good, though I feel the desaturation towards the inside is a bit off. But at the same time, I'm not sure it would fare any better just fading to black, because the change in saturation makes it more interesting. Back to the other colors, though, the pale red gives the impression of drying blood and the green and yellows of malnourished or diseased flesh.

The tilings have an almost Geigeresque biomechanical feel too them. Coupled with the darkness, that adds to the distressed feeling. The tunnel stretching into infinity gives it a feeling of... uh, infinity.

And there's a little light at the end of the tunnel. Or is it just a false hope? Either way, something for the eye to catch after taking in the whole picture, first. Another thing I noticed while looking at it zoomed out is a subtle spiral formed by the plates, giving it a slightly demented feel.

Compositionally, it's stable. I think "dead" is a good description, given the title. ;) It might be interesting to try both a square frame and a horizontal frame, but I like the vertical frame it has right now.
