Description   's Owl and sakura request Thanks for responding to my journal!! This was super fun to draw!
Perfect timing, too; the sakura trees should be blooming about now in Japan (at least they were last year at this time...)
I wish I could have fit an entire sakura tree in this picture, but the owl ended up too big, so he's just flying among the flowers blowing in the wind!
This also kind of reflects my mood at the moment; I finally, FINALLY know what college I'm going to now (Thanks for waitlisting me Mines!! Stupid punks, I'm going to CSU!) I've been really anxious not knowing where I'm going, so it's nice to be on stable ground even if it means I'm not going to my first choice in schools.

This is awesome!   Thank you so much!   You're a really great artist! Oh and I wonder, what does that purple ribbon means? It's kinda puzzling me
Well, at least you now know where you're going! On my part, I'm still anxious because I have no idea what the hell I want to do with my life. I'm currently studying Natural Sciences in college, but I'm not really interested in pursuing in that domain at University :/ (our colleges and universities system here in Québec isn't the same thing as yours; basically you're entering an institution of higher education one year before we do)

You know, I wish I could tell you that the ribbon has some deep meaning, but it doesn't I just thought it'd be fun! Hehehe I think it adds a pretty Asian feel to it though.
All I can say is, do what you love. Cliche, I know, but if you think about everything you've ever loved doing in life, I'm sure you'll find commonalities and from there you'll discover what you want to do in life

Something you may find interesting: My mom has combined the spiritual principles of Aikido with her love of gardening and eating organic foods by studying Permaculture. Some of it, I'm sure, of falls under natural science studies, so if you want to check it out, you'll have a lot of background knowledge to draw from!

Well, the ribbon could actually mean a lot of things! It could have once been the owl's binding, now he is free of it; so it could mean freedom in that sense. It could also mean nostalgia because a ribbon isn't a neccessary thing for the owl, but he is still carying it to remember stuff. ... I think I'm going too far for a simple ribbon; I should go to bed

I was actually looking forest and environement management. Seems to be, in a way, similar to permaculture!

That's the beauty of art; you can interpret it however you like!
That sounds interesting Have fun with that, I'm sure it'll be a fascinating career!
