Usually i feel desdain for the clowns, my favorite one is Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal. There are some people who afraid to clowns, like they were monsters just by have a red nose and white face; i thought if Ruby and Iris faces are white then they only would need a red nose to look as clowns. I couldn´t think in a better background. My first idea was a white with pink dots background; it looked horrible. My second try was a black with red laughs background; awful too. So i decided to make this one.Misery is not dressed as clown but a jester cause clowns were not invented yet from the age her posessions belong (she likes old style, so old than only can be found on history books) ; in her family dictionary the word clown doesn´t exists but possibly there are words which are not used anymore.

Clowns gained bad fame by the Stephen King´s It movies. Clowns don´t disturb me, with the Hellraiser cenobites is other story.

Your logic is flawless. Even if I liked them as a kid there still is something fundamentally creepy about the idea of clowns; the creepy theme of the show is a good match. On top of that the observations about Ruby's and Iris's faces makes it a natural fit. It's no surprise that Misery would be the sad clown, but she's the best sad clown there ever was. And oddly enough that super-cheerful redheaded clown may actually get her to smile before the show is over.
The thing that's even creepier than clowns or the residents of Gloom Manor: Iris seems to be moving like a *gasp!* MIME!

It´s suppose Iris is aiming to throw the pie, she couldn´t be a mime cause she is very loud and she couldn´t be mute for long time.

Cuando le describieron a Desgracia cómo se vestirían, ella interpretó que esas características eran las de un bufón. Sus libros son muy viejos, fueron escritos antes de que se inventaran los payasos.

Ella tendría que usar una nariz morada o de otro color porque sus ojos son rojos y si usara nariz roja pensarían que tiene tres ojos.

En el guardarropa de Desgracia no había trajes de payaso porque todavía no se inventaban en la era a la que pertenece su ropa.

Aunque asi fuera, Desgracia es muy ortodoxa y prefiere hacer las cosas de manera tradicional. De seguro aún utiliza sanguijuelas para quitarse el dolor de cabeza.
