I don't really know who to support, but I go by the saying peace/love not war.
Optimus will bounce back like he always does (as someone wrote in a fic 'he is like one of those blow up clowns where every time you knock it down he just bounces back.)
I really don't know what to think, part of me is disillusioned with Optimus (I hate how he is in the end of Dark of the moon and Armada,) but I still believe in what he stands for. I think this is why I prefer the fics over cannon.
