~~Captain Kirkland's POV~~

I staid up late for a few nights in a row. I was so excited to finally get one of my rivals off his guard! I let out a small yawn lucky for me that no one was there to see or hear....Or so I thought. I soon felt warm arms around me and a small giggle. I realized who it was. I spun around only to get kissed by ________. I gladly kissed her back and held onto her. She stopped the kiss and said, "You are tired. You need to get some rest." I chuckled and commented, "I don't need to do anything love, but thanks for the offer. Now why don't you head back to bed?" She shook her head and placed her head onto my shoulder.

"Not until my captain comes back to bed~" I chuckled at her and grabbed her waist. I let out a small sigh of defeat and grumbled, "Fine. I'm coming."

I lifted her over my shoulder and raced back over to my cabin. She let out her cute, sexy laughs as I held onto her. I'm glad she finally saw things my way after from the first time we 'met'. I opened up the door and quietly closed it with my foot. I walked over to the bed and placed ______ on it. She kept laughing and giggling but when I looked into her eyes, she seemed to be worried about something. I climbed on top of her, letting her think that she was going to have another 'playdate' with me but I just stroked her cheek. Every time I did this to a girl, they would break and like always she broke too. Her expression on her face turned into the ones that her beautiful (e/c) crystal eyes were showing.

She looked down and frowned. Her giggling and laughing stopped and I sat up next to her as she surprised me and hugged onto me. She hugged me the same way that she did when telling me about her life, her father, her mother. Then that was when it hit me.

"You're thinking about Romano aren't you?" She cuddled closer into me and seemed to have nodded her head. She whimpered, "What will he think?.....Of me being with you?" I lifted up her head and said with a slight smirk, "Now what is wrong with me love?~" She blushed and shook her head and before she could say anything, I said, "I know what you mean. Since we are enemies and with you falling for me. Well you will find out soon enough _______. If you want to, you can come with me and Alfred to Captain Antonio's ship." She face lit up a bit but not enough that she seemed fully happy.

I then pinned her underneath me and attacked her neck with little butterfly kisses. She gasped and tugged on my coat, I smirked at this. She can give up so easy at times. I reached her sweet spot and lifted my head to look at hers. She pouted in the cutest way and whined out my name. I reattached my lips to her neck onto that one spot until there was a slight knock on the door. We both looked over at the door and I got up opening it. There was Alfred standing there.

~~Your POV~~

I looked over sitting up on the bed and saw that Alfred was at the door. He seemed to be really scared of something, probably had a bad dream. He didn't seem scared but I always would have made that look to Romano. Looking like I was fine but on the inside wanted to cry and get held.

"C-Captain Arthur.....M-May you sing me that o-one song again? The one you used to sing to me before." Alfred was shaking so much and Arthur shook his head and responded, "Come on Alfred! Ye know that it is very late! Get back to..." I walked over and pushed Arthur out of the way and picked up Alfred. Arthur glared at me but I glared back. I looked back to Alfred with a calm expression and said, "Did you have a bad dream Alfred?" He looked at Arthur and then back at me. He whispered in my ear a yes, my guess was that Arthur said that it wasn't manly to have to go to the older sibling when scared or something like that.

I kissed his cheek and said, "How about you sleep with me and Arthur tonight? How does that sound?" Alfred looked at Arthur again and then whispered to me, "But Big Brother says that I'm too old to have to sleep with him." I looked over at him with a nasty glare and he gave me the 'What the bloody hell did I do?!' look. I walked over to the bed and said, "Well then you can sleep with me. You're still a kid Alfred, you can sleep with me to have a good dream." Arthur must have caught on and grumbled something but I just ignored him.

Alfred said, "Can you sing to me? It helps me sleep." I nodded and thought of what song to sing. Then it hit me! The song my mother sang to me when I was little.

The rain pounds harshly against the glass.
Like an unwanted stranger..There is no danger....I am here tonight....
The whole time I was singing, I placed Alfred down on the bed and stroked his head down to his cheek.

Arthur came to the bed and laid down next to Alfred with an arm around him. It was really sweet and so I kept singing.

The storm cloud mask you beloved moon
and its candlelight beams, Still keep pleasant dreams
I am here tonight.
I started to stroke Arthur's face also. I leaned in and kissed Alfred's forehead. Arthur's head popped up and he said, "Oy! Don't I get a kiss from the pretty lady?" I smiled at him and gave him a kiss on his nose. He gave a small grunt but I just continued to sing.

The wind makes creatures of our trees and the branches to hands
They're not real,
understand and I am here tonight.

She had the most beautiful voice that I had ever heard in my life. I am so glad that I picked her. She is so incredible! I don't bloody care if she is my weakness! I would do anything for her...Anything...

For you know....once even I....was a little child....
and I was afraid...but a gentle someone always came..
to dry all my tears
trade sweet sleep the fears and to give a kiss goodnight.
Well now I am grown
and these days have shown
Rain's a part of how life goes.
But it's dark and it's late
So I'll hold you and wait
'til your frighten eyes to close.
And I hope that you know, that nature is so
the same rain the draws you near me.

I looked over at Alfred who was sound asleep. I started feeling tired myself that I didn't even realize that _____ was laying down right next to Alfred and had an arm around him like I do. I looked at her peaceful face and stroked her cheek.
