Some kind of Kirbyish trunks. In my fan-fic he eventually acquires a punker's outfit, and I had a fight scene between him and his evil counterpart from a parallel reality. They use flaming chains and ride flaming motorcycles !

That sounds like "Ghost Rider", about a motorcyclist stuntman who sells his soul and as a result becomes a vigilante.

Soon he uses "Penance Beam" to fell his foe and then stop all the fighting.
Later yet, he uses necroplasm to create armor & weapons from his own being !

Cytoplasm - pretty punk powerless.
Ectoplasm - phasing through walls, invisibility, flight, immortal, shape-changing.psychopomp, psychonaut
Necroplasm - fire, light, teleportation, Penance Beam, necro-weapons, necro-armor.

Point taken. I used the term "cytoplasm" to comprise the biological material organic cells are made of, in general. Casper said that not everybody who dies becomes a ghost (exchanges protoplasm for ectoplasm).

Yes, he said that to an European prince whom he befriended over the 'net, and saved from a coup. During this story, the prince had a near-death or out of body experience, but was told by the Man Of Great Authority that it was not his time yet.
