This picture is one of my favorites so far. It's an AU idea I have for a fanfic. It's a bit complicated to explain, but here's the basic idea.

In an alternate version of Mobius, the name "Shadow the Hedgehog" means nothing to anyone, especially after the failure and termination of Project Shadow. Instead, a heartless creature known as "Dusk" reigns as the unbeatable champion of Dr. Eggman, and with him in his control, Eggman rules as supreme dictator of Mobius. All hope seems lost for this forlorn Mobius until a chaos control gone awry sends Shadow into this alternate world.

What happens when the Ultimate Life Form meets the Ultimate Life Form? Is it possible for peace to be restored to the other side of their world? And what about Sonic, the fallen hero of Mobius? Can he rise to the occasion and fight with Shadow? Can the Freedom Fighters reclaim their home?

This picture takes place after a battle with Dusk, and obviously, it's one Sonic lost. Not only that, but it's the battle that changes everything; the battle that he lost everything to. The one that breaks him. But no matter what, he doesn't want anyone to know that he's been broken. It goes against everything he's ever known, and that's not something he's willing to do...

So yeah. A long description, huh? But hey, that's just how I roll.
