Wow I didn't expect that flipping X and Zero's and Sigma's roles would create a brand new story; it's like the original robots are oppressing their inferior copies; the reploids! It's like they had to blend in with these dumb weak copies but then they had enough so they started rebelling against order. They must have the personalities of self absorbed teenagers. XP Vile is especially in they grey; he IS a criminal reploid, but he begins to look like he's on the side of the good because he's fighting the oppressing originals.
Maybe antagonist!X and Zero are producing robots/modifying existing reploids with their original superior technology and AI.

Pfft. Love Zero on top of the ride armor with Sigma being the one getting bodied. And X is small, but as the Lord of the Mavericks, he still has a you-don't-want-to-mess-with-me vibe.
