Personality: Pilot is an incredibly optimistic, energetic little dog, though somewhat childish. Pilot adores tennis balls (he can't resist them) and playing in general. He is outgoing and friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly. He tends to barge into other people's business without asking first, and hardly ever notices their discomfort or annoyance. A great benefit to the dogs who know him though, is that he rarely forgets a piece of information that he's heard, leaving him with prime news and gossip.

One nickname others have for him that flies over his cheerful little head is Moses, because crowds part when he's bounding through.

He has issues with sitting still, and often chews when he is bored. Anything goes in the mouth. He's chewed to bits his masters' belongings, other dogs' toys, and pretty much anything he can get his paws on. There are little marks on posts and porches all over his side of town where he got bored and started gnawing.

Despite being barely a foot tall, he has an impressive jump range, and he is able to leap upwards several times his own height, a feat his breed is known for. As well as having Jack Russell Jumps, he also has his breed's ferocious tenacity and jaw strength.

Pilot's biggest flaw is probably his fearlessness. It verges on stupidity. He would climb into a bear's mouth if he thought that it stole a scrap of meat from him.

Background: Pilot was born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, one of a litter of three. His cocky, stubborn attitude may have stemmed from having two brothers to compete with in puphood. He was a breeder puppy, and was sold at the age of twelve weeks to a brand new family, a husband and wife, who loved him dearly.
Shortly afterwards, he and his humans moved to Nome, where he remains happily. This is where he began to wear his signature sweaters, since the cold bit into his tiny body badly. His humans own a small General Store, where he spends much of his time. Its probably the only place that he respects enough not to chew to bits. He loves his store, and considers himself an employee of the place. An unrealistic belief, since is a very small little dog, but his nonetheless.

Other: Sometimes Pilot gets excited and talks a little too fast. He is an incredibly fast runner, and secretly wishes to be a sled dog. But alas, he is barely as long as the bigger dogs' muzzles.
