First off, I'm not too happy with this. It's been embarrassingly long since I picked up a pencil and drew something for fun. I think it's her nose that I'm not liking. I'm still working on improving my drawing of hair and it's coming along. Slowly. After doing painting commissions and drawings for art stands, the first drawing I decided do for pleasure and not money was Helena Harper. I love Helena. Intentionally, I wasn't crazy for her because in Resident Evil 6, she's dragging you along and you have no idea what she's after. But once it's all explained, she grew on me and became one of my favorites. Maybe it's because her last name makes me think of Harper Lee and then 'To Kill A Mockingbird'... Also the quote of her's that used at the title is one of my favorites of hers. (:So here's to hoping I'll get to drawing more for fun and for the heck of it. I'm gonna make a journal post about future stuff and to see if you'd like to see what I'll be doing. Hope you all like my drawing of Helena!

Probably one of my favorite characters. And I envy your shading. I'm horrible at it.

Helena is a gem. Shading is a pain, but once you get the hang of it and find the way you like best, it'll be a walk in the park. I found fingers and cotton swabs are the easiest for me. I'm still learning myself!

I think I love her because of the issues with her sister. It kinda reminds me of myself and my sister. She is my favorite person in the world and I'd kill anyone if they try to hurt her(not literally kill but, you get my point). I'd want revenge just like Helena did. It's strange because, my sister's favorite character is Deborah. I'll try those techniques on the next few pictures I'll draw. See, if I like them.

Same. I would die for any of my brothers or sisters. Even though I'm not close with half of them. Family is family. That's cute your little sister likes Deb. My brother *really* liked Deb because she was nude half the time. But anyhoo, I hope the techniques work out well and let me know how you get along. (:
