Only one person said anything bad, and that was about the blur. The blur is only minimal.....which is hard to avoid with a slow shutter speed. The wind blows the foilage (and your tripod), which causes the blur most of the time. It's a great picture...don't let anyone tell you any different!

That is so sweet of you Thanks! It was actually windy that day, and I can't really tell the flowers not to sway in the wind....

It's hard to get the flowers to cooperate! Tourists are also hard to keep out of your shots! :gigggle:

Thank you. By that time it was getting a bit hazy, which was, of course, good for the exposure time, but not so good for the colors.

You're welcome! Actually, the haze is good for the colors since it will tend to knock down reflections a bit, allowing the true color to shine through. I think that may be what makes it special.

Thank you
I discovered today that rain actually changes the light quite drastically, especially when it rains and the sun comes out as it is typical for Ireland in fall. But I did not have my camera with me

Thanks! I don't really know what kind of flower it was. But I am pretty sure it wasn't lavender.

I have no clue, as you can see, lol! My husband plans on planting some for me in the spring. I love the smell of lavender.

Lavender is great. We have it in our backyard at home in Germany just to keep the mosquitos away.

Does it really keep the mosquitos away? I live in mosquito country. That would be great!

It doesn't really work 100 percent, but to a certain extent it does work.

Any excuse to have lavender, lol! I will definitely plant a lot in my backyard. My husband said it should thrive here, since we have rosemary doing so well.

Quite good job, I think that the blur on the whole shot is not good, but the water one's is well done

It was kind of hazy that day, so that is where the blurr comes from, couldn't do anything about it despite the tripod I used.
