Most Ankhgorians have the same basic powers [teleportation, quickness, and high jumps], but some of them augment their powers with technology. In this case, Abydos lost both of his natural claw/tenctacle arms in battles; so, he replaced them with cybernetic claw/tentacle arms that also have fire properties [fire balls, and blowtorch aspects].

Abydos is a warrior aligned with the Ankhgorians, but he has sympathies toward the humans and The Glyph.
