Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well! Still working on my character concepts for my Revolutionary War story idea. Here is the proposed main character; Jordan Williams. A free man from Lincoln, Massachusetts, he enlists in the Lincoln Minute Man Company in order to support his family. Once war breaks out in the colony, Jordan finds himself swept up into the turbulent events that will soon give birth to an experiment known as America, all the while trying to find where he and those he cares about fit into the history playing out before them.

I've been doing a lot of research for this character. Studying the lives of people of color, both free and enslaved, in Colonial America has been eye opening. And I feel it is worth exploring to better understand the origins of the United States and how people like Jordan helped to shape our noble experiment in Democracy.
