Description
A little while ago I drew a rendition of the character Ishmael and Queequeg from the classic novel Moby Dick. Looking at that piece, I thought I could improve some things about it. So here we have the famed whaling duo once again, with a few additions and alterations.

I still wanted to capture the underlying elements of their relationship, which when you really analyze it, comes off as quite romantic. Probably not what Herman Melville intended, but whatever readers get out of it is all legitimate. I certainly see their relationship as such.

Had a lot of fun drawing these two again. Particularly in creating a more dynamic pose for them.
