As an Avenger, You had fought with many creepy, and scary looking beings. You had encountered way to many near death experiences, been hospitalized multiple times, and were considered one of the most brave people on the team. There was only one thing that you were terrified of.

The dentist.

So when you found out you had to get your wisdom teeth removed, well, you were not a happy camper. You hid yourself in your room and attempted to take flight to Malibu just to avoid the appointment. But your boyfriend had dragged you back before you could board the plane.

When the day of the procedure rolled around, Tony had to carry you kicking and screaming into the office. They gave you anesthetic and you were out cold in a matter of seconds. Tony kissed your forehead and watched as you were whisked off.

He waited in the waiting room until a nurse said that you were awake. When Tony entered the room, he found you looking around with bleary eyes, cotton in your mouth.

"Hey sweetheart." He greeted and took a seat next to you. Your eyes slowly made their way over to him, a look of disbelief and surprise on your face. You pointed a finger at him. "You're Tony Stark."

The billionaire chuckled and grasped your hand, "that I am." You seemed satisfied with his answer. "Would you like to come home with me (Name)?" His girlfriend shook her head. "No, I'm in a committed relationship." You explained, receiving a confused look from Tony. "With who?" He asked curiously.

"My computer."

It took everything in him not to laugh. He squeezed your hand softly. "What a lucky appliance. What's the lucky guy's name?" "Kathren." You replied without missing a beat. Tony nodded, smiling at your loopy state. He had to admit, you were absolutely adorable.

"Did you know that I think you're kinda hot?" You asked, putting you fingers in your mouth. "Did you know I think you're really hot?" Tony asked as he grabbed your wrist and placed it back in your lap. "No way." You gasped with wide eyes. Tony leaned in to kiss your cheek. "Way."

"I just got kissed by Iron Man." You stated and began to cry. "What's wrong sweetheart?" Tony asked worried. "I'd like to thank my friends, my mom, that homeless mime from the alleyway, that cat that wont leave me alone, my mom, my family, my friends, and most of all my family." You sobbed and buried your face into Tony's chest.

He bit his lip and rubbed your back soothingly. "That was a beautiful speech." He said with a kiss to your hair. "Thanks, took me a year to write." You replied, falling asleep.

Tony took you home and tucked you into bed, he played with your hair and kissed your head before hopping in and snuggling next to you. When you woke up, he would tease you and get smacked in the face with a pillow, but he was going to enjoy this moment while it lasted.

"And I want to thank my family."

"Go to sleep sweetheart."
