Defining Features: Aside from being rather large- a small set of scars decorates his front left leg and one rests just below his back right hock. His ears are cropped in traditional Ovcharka style Govenor wears a tattered blue scarf that used to be striped, but is now sun-bleached and stained. His owners take it away every now and again for washing/repairs.

Quiet & Gentle // Gov is very soft spoken, in fact his entire demeanor is extremely quiet. Ever a caretaker, he is also very gentle- especially when it comes to the handling of the sheep he's set to guard.

Self Consious & Shy // Not only is this giant dog quiet in on normal days by himself, he's also really shy when it comes to others. He can and will take control when it comes to teaching those new to the task of sheep guarding, but more casual, social situations tend to leave him in awkward silences. This may be because he greatly lacks self confidence.

Kind // A bleeding heart, Govenor cannot stand to see anyone hurting and will do anything in his power to keep those around him happy- if he can, and it doesn't mean being loud, funny, or obnoxious. If they need those things to cheer them up, they're sadly out of luck, because he couldn't pull those off if he tried. He'll take anyone in and believes firmly in second, third, and even fourth chances. This sometimes leads him to trouble.

Brave // Nothing will stop Govenor from protecting the animals under his care- these are usually sheep, which he has an especially soft spot for (particularly the lambs and elders). When it comes to keeping them safe, the quiet gentleness that Gov is known for disappears quickly. The result is enough to scare many a seasoned-heart.

Devoted & Loyal // Devoted to his family, his sheep, and his job, it would take a lot to drive Govenor from his current life.

Lonely // As loathe as he is to admit it outright and as much as he believes his flaws are too many for a partner to keep up with, Govenor really is lonely in the love department. Bisexual, he doesn't really have a type as long as they're agreeable.

Pre-Group History: Govenor's mother was a hunter, strange for her breed as Ovcharkas are normally livestock guarding dogs. Her strength in these talents led her owner to seek out a herd-oriented Ovcharka male in the hopes that he could produce a litter of Central Asians that were both good with animals and strong hunters. She took her first trip out of state via the back of her owner's truck to meet this male and, having always longed for adventure, quite enjoyed the journey. She was smitten with her chosen mate and the breeding went smoothly, after which she spent several months in his home-town before returning to Canidale.

Some time later, the pretty female - called Mina - had a litter of exactly two pups; one, a small female with a warrior's heart and a keen eye for sheep, and the other a large male who made up for his lack of hunting interest with an infatuation for livestock protection. He stayed with his mother for two years, training and growing, before he was finally gifted to a neighbor as a birthday gift. Overjoyed, his new family doted on him, placed a new, striped blue scarf around his neck, and entrusted him with their herds.

Govenor is happy in his current position and sticks to himself for the most part. He hopes to be a valuable part of his faction, so long as it doesn't take him away from his herd.
