I also missed the salt wagons until they returned in Journey Beyond Sodor.

They did return, but sadly they are retooled versions of the LNER single ventilated vans.
I prefer the model era versions of the salt vans because they look closer to their real life
counterparts which are the Saxa salt vans.
I still wish the producers of the show would bring back the model era style versions of the
salt vans in the cgi era of the shows, along with the previous rolling stock that I said before.
