Of everyone so far, Chip has to be the one that changed the least since I first put up concept drawings. Well... with the exception of Abigail, anyway.

I'm not sure why I'm calling these "reference WIP's". They aren't really so much references as they are colorized concepts.

So, of the characters I've redesigned so far, Chip has taken the most dramatic change and has taken on a different body type than previously. His abilities have also become more Earth-based as opposed to fire, but he'll likely be nurturing a fire-based magic style as well.

Perhaps his kind is more adaptive than others in terms of utilizing multiple elements. I'm not sure, I still have a lot to work out about this world. xD

Once I finish taking down some notes on Chip, I'll likely post them to scraps.

Have to admit I was a little afraid about these changes, specially with Chip as most have grown to love the little Flareon counterpart. But when I see him now it's kinda cool , but at the same time a bit strange xD; (no offence intended there)
Like to see how he's like in action xD

The eyes definitely seem different than before. Although, still green. Nice to see what Chip looks like now~!

Even if his powers are still partly fire-based, he'll still be nervous when using them, right? It just seems to fit- Chip having power over fire, but too afraid to use it. Or something like that. Maybe I'm not making sense again...

I think I did a single page of Corruption where I changed the shape of his eyes to ovals, and it just stuck ever since. xD

He isn't very well-practiced in his fire abilities, so he's sure to have a few mishaps here and there. He's not very confident in using them.

His personality has remained largely unchanged; still pretty naive and cowardly, not very confident in his fire-based abilities. xD

yeah, i know that he still has his personality |D.
i meant more like how he'd use his new form, being a squirrel-like creature, he'd probably climb trees alot no?
and or stuff a flareon wouldn't usually do ,:3. if that made sense.
