Finally... I made another card. This one is sad, because considering you see the two angelic shorties without their wings. This heavily implies that their wings have been torn off by the Rottweilers. That's why the Rottweilers are the main focus of this. It's just that the card is obviously based on the Rider-Waite version of The Devil card tarotoak.com/wp-content/upload… but my spin on it is somewhat more innocent. I say this because the two people on the Rider-Waite card are depicted as devils (or demons) and are together against their will (as depicted by their chains). In this NTfH version, the couple is angelic and they're obviously together because they want to.

So the new meanings of this card are having support in dark times and any kindness that remained among cruelty (at least when you shift your focus to Woody and Shelly). But since the main focus is the Rottweilers, then it can also mean defeat and hopelessness. There's one possible positive meaning. Remember, when are Woody and Shelly angels and when are the Rottweilers devils? Exactly... in Woody's dreams and nightmares. Dreams and nightmares are often short-lived (unless they repeat due to any circumstances) and they're often forgotten. So one possible positive meaning is reminding yourself that this too shall pass and even might be forgotten. In some cases, dreams and nightmares can sometimes affect any person, so that's the downside. It's kind of like the Ten of Swords if you think about it. Though the Ten of Swords card is about painful endings from what I remember. While NTfH card The Devils is about nightmares that haven't yet ended.

When the NTfH card The Devils is reversed, then the meanings are positive. I don't think it's possible for them to restore their wings (until Woody's next dream, but think of it as Woody and Shelly somehow managed to escape). It's still a nightmare, but in this case the nightmare is more controllable and it's more likely to end less painfully.

I'm not sure how I feel about adding dark effect to this picture. It doesn't look perfect but I wanted it to seem kind of sinister or sad or both.

At least that's how I can interpret both positions of the NTfH card. And I managed to do that by imagining a short story this time. I think this is a little too different from the original The Devil card, but that's fine. It's kind of what I wanted to achieve with my deck.

Just to warn you in advance, the next card will be kind of worse. It'll be The Tower www.researchgate.net/profile/T… of course the NTfH version will be kind of toned down, so there's that.

I want to make my deck quicker or at least make a card for less than a month. But it's just that I'm either lazy or busy or both. Sometimes my mental health isn't great either. In fact, lately I kind of feel like Woody and Shelly in this picture. I hope that can change at least.
