Because my mom brought her home for a few weeks because she only has one eye and she doesn't seem to be able to fly. We had a pretty big blow up swimming pool for her to swim around in and we set up a dog pen on the front lawn for her waddle around in as well. After awhile we set her free at lake Nockamixion because there wasn't much else we could do for her. I visited her at the lake on Sunday, she gets pretty excited when we visit. The other geese don't seem to like her so she hangs out with the ducks.

wow she knows you, i truly believe this, have had similar experiences with canadian geese recognizing ppl

Yeah she knows me. My parents always try to save injured animals, we've had all kinds of birds, mice, turtles, squirrels, cats, dogs, and other creatures at our house. We've even kept a few as pets. ^_^
