Description The blonde was grinning ear to ear as she played the footage of her bound captive from beginning to end.  Several of the "nomads" from the robbery had come in and were collecting bars of gold and placing them into crates and divvying up the paper currency and bearer bonds, which they then put into two briefcases.  Maureen blushed as the men glanced over at her, but they were very professional and after taking their peeks focused exclusively on their work.  Their leader, the man who had shot Arash through the head, came up to the blonde and watched the brief clip of ransom footage as she played through it again.

"Are you sure this split is fair to you, Miss Golam?" the man asked in English lightly-accented with Farsi.  "Eighty/twenty seems a bit generous to us, considering that you provided all of the intelligence that made this operation possible.  Don't you even want to watch my men divide the spoils?  Count the money?"

The blonde glanced at him, then back down at the camera, shaking her head.  "No, Farsad, I think I'll manage to scrape by on the paltry six million dollars or so you're leaving me.  I trust you as much as anyone trusts anyone in this business, and you and your men did all the real work.  I could never have knocked over that shipment without you.  If your men miscount by a few bills or take an extra gold bar I'm sure I'll survive.  What's a quarter million dollars here and there between friends?" she chuckled, turning the camera off and looking up at Farsad.  "Besides, if Mazandrani ponies up the ransom I'll more than double my money."

"Do you think he'll pay?  Is she really worth it?" Farsad asked, looking over at Maureen, who shot him an angry glare and gave him both middle fingers, causing the man to laugh.  "To him, I mean, Mrs. Mazandrani.  Of course you are more than worth it as an objective matter, my dear," he said, raising his voice and looking over at Maureen so that she could hear him more clearly.

Miss Golam looked at Farsad and shrugged.  "Even with this hit, he's still got plenty of money.  And no one knows she's missing except Salim Mazandrani and the people in this room.  If he pays up, his reputation remains intact.  If he doesn't, everyone on earth finds out the big, bad secret head of the Iranian internal security apparatus can't even protect his own wife.  Or his money.  I think he'll pay, but I guess we'll see," she said.  Farsad's men had finished crating up the gold and were moving it out.  They closed the large roll-top door to the storage building behind them as they left.  The blonde woman Farsad had referred to as Miss Golam picked up a Beretta pistol and a suppressor off the table the remaining gold and currency sat upon and screwed a suppressor onto the barrel, then walked over to Maureen.

"So poor Mrs. Mazandrani loses either way?" Farsad asked, shifting a little uncomfortably and adjusting the single-point sling dangling the H&K rifle from his chest.  Aside from that, he merely watched with interest as the blonde walked up to Maureen, who was shaking her head and pleading through the gag.  Maureen began to sob, tears rolling, her mascara leaving streaks down her cheeks.

"You all lose, Farsad.  The United States has abandoned us.  They've sided with the mullahs.  They're giving a hundred and fifty billion dollars to the world's number one terror sponsor, a country that overtly killed a thousand GIs during the Iraq War, some of whom were my friends.  They're fast-tracking an atomic bomb for Ali Khamenei and calling it peace in our time.  So, yes, no matter what Salim does, he loses a little.  You, your friends, your families, you lose a lot.  The region, the world, the American people, they lose a little now and a lot later.  Poor Mrs. Mazandrani here....well, she loses everything.  The Green Revolution is over, Farsad.  There's no hope for freedom and democracy here.  Use that money to get your men and your families out of Iran." Miss Golam said, pressing the muzzle of the suppressor to the now weeping, quivering Maureen's forehead.

"And you, Miss Golam, what happens to you?" Farsad asked.  "What do you lose?"

"Nothing.  I'm between six and fourteen million dollars richer," she said. "I'm going to take Mazandrani's money and then I'm going to burn his ass, anyway.  I'm not going back.  They've sold me out, betrayed everything I stand for, betrayed everything I and my colleagues have been working--at great personal risk, I remind you--for years to try to prevent.  I'm going to disappear to my own private island somewhere.  Now be a dear and turn that video camera back on for me, would you?"

"You're a tough one, Miss Golam," Farsad chuckled as he looked down and fiddled with the camera for a moment, looking for the power and record buttons.  "There, I think that's got it," he said, uncomfortable with the scene before him, but looking unperturbed all the same.

"Good," Miss Golam said, looking back at Maureen, who was in a state of shock, but began begging and pleading again as soon as the blonde looked back at her.  "Now, Mrs. Mazandrani, I need you to close your eyes for a moment."  Maureen shook her head, and Miss Golam clapped her across the cheek with a backhand, then stepped back and placed the muzzle of the pistol to Maureen's forehead again.  Maureen squinted.  "There," the blonde said.  There was a loud sound, like a cap popping or a small firecracker going off, and Maureen's head lolled to the side and then hung forward, a rivulet of blood forming around the wound in the center of her forehead and dropping onto the floor, followed a moment later by a second.

"I suppose it had to be done," Farsad sighed.  "It was a pleasure killing Arash, but he was a monster.  This woman, though, she hadn't really done anything wrong".

"That's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes, Farsad.  She was a money hungry bimbo and she literally laid down with dogs to get it.  It's like the Bible says, 'the love of money is the root of all evil'."  Maureen dangled lifelessly in the chair before her as the blonde unscrewed the suppressor, cleared the little .22, and then walked back over and placed pistol and suppressor back on the table.  "She's not anything like her IRGC husband, but innocent, she ain't."

"Yes, I suppose.  And I guess her death isn't without meaning.  When the Guardians realize how Salim got played, he'll be lucky to end up in Evin prison.  More than likely he'll end up getting the same treatment as his wife.  Two monsters for the price of one fallen woman.  A cruel price, but worth it."

"Probably not to Maureen Mazandrani, but you've got to break a few eggs, and all that," Miss Golam said, coming over to stroll alongside Farsad as he walked to the exit.  "Look, Farsad, take my advice and get out.  There are plenty of us in the company who are still sympathetic to you, but our time is over.  Our political leadership is playing for the other team.  Things may change in a year or two when a new administration takes over, but they may get even worse.  In the interim..."

"Yes, yes, I know, Miss Golam.  They will round up all the usual suspects.  And, now, the unusual ones.  We will try and get our families out, but I speak for my men when I say we are staying.  This is our country.  As long as the faintest ember of hope remains of removing this theocracy and taking our country back, we will stay, and when we can, we will fight," he said, reaching the door.  His men had the Rovers loaded and revved up, and were mounted up waiting for him.

"You are a real dumbass, Farsad.  I really admire the hell out of you," Miss Golam said, extending her hand and giving him a smile.  He returned her smile and shook her hand, then turned and walked to his waiting men.

Superb image of a very sexy kick-ass girl. I love the way these fantasy girls bare their bellies and navels in this kind of situation and inevitably cause the aforementioned body parts to be such obvious targets to other shooters

Great image, and the story is downright ruthless! I'm so hoping Maureen's execution was some elaborate trick.
