Love this Append release, especially Rin's translucent hair bow that seemingly lit up when I directed the hair light on them ^^Took a picture of the original Kagamine duo (here! ) almost 3 years ago! Both of them were among the first nendoroids that I gotten as I slowly ventured into hobby photography back then.
(heck, that shot was a 3sec long exposure, since I had no strobes back then and there wasn't enough light coming thru my windows due to a crazy thunderstorm that was stirring outside...)

That's ultra-adorable. The expressions are brilliant, lighting and colours are perfect and the posing is very well done.
Your photos always have an amazing quality to them and rarely look like figures - I can't quite put my finger on it but they always come out so well. Keep up the great work!

Thanks jbrowneuk! Β As mentioned before, it takes quite a bit of experimentation to discover new ways to light up a scene. Β This one would have been better if I controlled the key light a little more (you could see that I'm losing the black areas, especially on Rin's eyebrows) and shifted a background light a little bit to Rin's side too (magenta is eating into Len's side!)
Still, it was lots of fun ^^
