but before giratina went rogue, what do you think it mas meant to represent?
i had read theorys that said it was rather the envodiment of gravity or anti-matter

That's actually an interesting idea. As far as I know the anti-matter theory is kinda canon.
Personally, I think it could also represent the bond between time and space. I like the idea that it was banished into a world where time and space can't have any connection to each other, because it linked Dialga and Palkia together against their wills. Creating spacetime and allowing the creation of our world, but at the same time impose somewhat of a course on the embodiment of time and space.
