My friend find these night critters very unsettling to look at... while I think they are quite cute! What is your opinion?

They ARE cute but also just a little bit disturbing.. uncanny valley is about right..

hahahaha that reminds me of that time when I was in a plane, and the guy (young guy, like a brat or something) behind me was doing weird things, and I turned around with big eyes and asked him "are you scratching at my seat"
and he kinda melted into nothingness
so, I understand why you'd never scratch in public!

Haven’t been on a plane in years and starting to wonder if I ever will again.. I always found it purgatorial anyway; if only you had been there to melt all the other passengers with your big eyes, it might have been much more agreeable!

I did make scratchboards myself when I was a kid
fun part is that you can put whatever colours you want underneath
let's say you wanted the moon red, so you just had to paint it red
and then when you scratch... surprise
