Description
This is an image from what was once a flash fiction story but is now being reworked into a short story. I was hoping to release image and story together, but I've decided to try and get the story published so I'm not sure when I'll be able to share it. Here is the excerpt from where the picture originated:

Karl paused for a moment when he looked at the old man's face; the flickering fire light warped it in strange patterns and distorted his grin. In one hand he held a fine goblet, no doubt filled with centuries old liquor. In the other was the massive drumstick of some bird, chunks of flesh had been torn from it and its juices were dripping off the old man's fingers.
