still up....I think for me in the future will be the best technique of lasso and little brush work. We'll see. Anyway, this is only work with a brush. Colors are not good and I have to improve.

About the color - try to throw some gradient fills, photo filters, hue/saturation, in the form of an adjustment layer and mess around with the masks and blending modes, you may turn out with a happy accident
