I've got ZERO inspiration at the moment...and all I could was this. The Martian Fighting Machine from the Pendragon film of War of the Worlds. I took a snapshot of the machine and copied it...I didn't bother to colour it due to many reasons. But anyway, hope u guys like it.Pendragon website:-> [link] <-Note: Not much to see there.

You are right, Pendragon's tripods were cool, also i like the new tripods from the new film WOTW: The true story, also made by Pendragon too

I remember the new film is directed by Timothy Hines (who did the first one) but I didn't hear that Pendragon was in charge

Its made by Pendragon and they learn of their mistakes made on the first film and looks a lot better, the special effects are improved and the photography looks more Victorian, the trailer is on youtube and in Pendragon's web site

Now we all know this movie had problems, and the effects were far from perfect...
But these fighting machines are one of the best ever designed (at least in my opinion).

I think Steven Spielberg's & Jeff Wayne's designs were the best., but the Pendragon version has a Really GOOD design to them.
(I have the original 3-hour long version on DVD that I bought on Amazon. com, for only $7.49!!)
My only complaint, when the Tripods walk , their feet sound like toilet plungers or suction cups!! LOL!!!
