Yay for more gryphons!

So, yes. I drew another gryphon. And lo and behold, there's more to 'em than just a head! I'll have you know, though, that those wings thoroughly drove me nuts! And the tail! Well, I'm rather proud of the fact that it's not a wimpy lion tail like they had in Spiderwick, but it's a far shot from being the functional tail of Narnia... I'm working on it, though!

So, yes. This is another envelope that I'm going to be mailing out. (Yes, I'm actually going to mail it.) For an Elder that I know. Considering he's more than halfway through his mission, and I only had a few chances to actually get to talk with him anyway, I hope this comes as a pleasant surprise and brightens his day a little. The letter to go along with it is random enough. lol.

I'm debating whether I should color it or not... Heck, I probably will, but I'll keep the b/w version up because I like it so. I spent a good while on the inking of this. Probably about half the time it took to draw the whole thing. And that wing... Well, if it looks a little off, please forgive me and my lack of knowledge in bird anatomy and perspective. I'm getting better, though! lol
