Description I created my own dragonically proliferate Inktober list this year. I didn't know Smaugust was a thing until September, so I'll have to keep that in mind for next year.

I have slowly been developing a taxonomy for dragons since just about anything gets called "dragon." I used to think it was descriptive of one or two particular creatures and the rest were dragonic but not dragons. However, I've come to the conclusion "dragon" is as accurate a term as "dinosaur." The class desperately needs clarification. If someone asks me to draw a dragon, I want to be able to ask if they're looking for a reptilian or avian bipedal, tetrapedal, hexapedal, or non-pedal dragon and only get more specific from there.

I'm a dragon nerd. I don't care if it's a fantasy creature. Shush.

I think you could pull off a dragon-based art book with descriptions of the dragons. It would be super cool!

The goal is a whole book that's more taxonomy based rather than just "species 1, species 2, species 3." I want something more concrete, something that will actually help folks classify their dragons. Like an audobon book. Maybe not that dense, but it would be cool.
