Aft view of Starfleets Nebula class Starship, the U.S.S. Trafalgar.The Nebula-class was a type of Federation starship in use by Starfleet in the 24th century. Officially designated as an explorer, the Nebula ships were also sometimes referred to as cruisers and science ships. She was well-known for being a testbed of modular components, with the vessel's upper outboard structures varying from vessel to vessel. Several configurationsโincluding a tactical pod, sensor pod, cargo pod and probe podโhad been fielded by the 2380s. During the Dominion War, of course, the most common variant was the tactical configuration.
Construction of the Nebula-class was spearheaded under the authority of the Yoyodyne Division, and ranged in construction dates from as early as 2363 to as late as 2367.
In the late 24th century, the Nebula class act as a multi-purpose ship which can be quick equipped for any mission without major refits.

ย Dat ass can be equipped with multiple torpedo tubes and Phaser arrays. The Nebula class might not be the quickest or most maneuverable, but she has room for far more weapon emplacements than what you see here.
ย This is one pussy you don't want to grab, because might find yourself on the receiving end of at least a dozen Quantum Torpedoes and phaser bolts! Starfleet probably even manufactured a pulse phaser turret pod after the Dominion War, which would make her even more effective.
ย She might not be an Akira class, but she's got it where it counts.

I just got the Eaglemoss Miniature Model of the NEBULA-class Mk I Starship, U.S.S. HONSHU : NCC-60205.ย It is incredibly detailed and I am very pleased that I spent the $22.00 on it.ย The model is so realistic like the filming models used on TNG series.ย This picture is so close to the details of the model..
