My try to do a realistic looking Space Nebula.
Pre-Made Space Background painted in Paint Shop Pro 7.
Can used as stock and fill it with planets, spaceships or whatever. Let your fantasy run wild!
The 1600 pixel size is free to use for everyone. (Just click on the image and download with right click)
The 4400 pixel size is available for just 10 dA points via download button.

As for realistic. I don't know, from what I learned is that NASA images are often colorized to enhance details. The light from a galaxy sky like you depict here takes decades to thousands of years to reach us here. I'm not sure the human eye is able to see all this. And yes, I'm blabbering.

Yeah, i know, most of the NASA images are colored, we dont really have a clue how the look like. But the NASA images are the closest ones to compare, so i tryed that look.
