This would have been a great scene in Armageddon's intro, or maybe story mode where it would show a longer cut-scene of the fight and the scene after blaze awakens.

I miss this friendship; And I mostly miss Smoke and Tundra's friendship; they just tore it apart!!! I mean, I like that Sub Zero and Scorpion are kinda pals because Hanzo knows the truth, but still, they all were torn apart.
I liked MKX, the new characters were cool and I loved seeing them 'grow old' but come on, don't take away our beloved characters

All the ninja bffs were broken up to make way for Scorpion. Kenshi and Ermac aren't friends anymore and neither is Smoke and Subby in MKX, all to serve the purpose of giving Scorpion development. It bothers me. Plus the PC port was inexcusable.

While Shao Kahn was proclaiming victory on the top of the Pyramid. All Ermac could do was hold Kenshi's hand... As both were on the brink of death, a suddenly white flash of light began to overflow the battlefield. Everything began to fade away as if Time itself has been altered...
I love this art and Love MORTAL KOMBAT!!!! Keep up the great work and the top story is just a thought.

I must say that I wish the outcome of MKA could have been a lot different as well so that MK9 never had to come into existence. Β It had a terrible ending. Β I enjoyed the story until Sindel killed all the heroes. Β Then it just lost me. Β Raiden killing Liu Kang, that was wrong too. Β Shao Khan killing Kung Lao, for some strange reason didn't bother me. Β Just teh quick executions by Sindel seemed like a cop out, like they weren't even really trying. Β I have my own universe were the ending for MKA was very different. Β It's not written but it was fun to come up with.

I think that they did that in MK9 to make room in MKX for new characters. Although I was very sad to see a lot of my favorites killed, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with MKX and who they bring back. (Frost, Fujin, Hotaru, etc.) Liu Kang dying like that was an intersting twist..."shocking," if you will. (That was awful, but I had to.)Β
It was very sad, but I wonder how they're going to revive it.
I am looking forward to whatever they go with. I do think that Sindel killing everyone was a quick fix, however...I'm not too bothered by it. If I want to see everyone, I just play the older games
