Doing a little concept work; finally got Ulysses' face perfect, and Christine's image has fallen into place as a result.SO. Completed style for the Fallout comic. Back to actually working on pages.

I do the same thing with Ulysses with a follower mod, since I think he'd be my courier's only friend ;D I like to imagine that Christine and Veronica got to reconcile somehow.

Was Christine already mutilated when she was rescued by Ulysse ? I thought it wasn't before the Sierra Madre.

When she was in Big MT tracking down Elijah, she was defeated and shipped off. They took her to the Y-17 medical facility and that's where they did all those experiments to her. That's when Ulysses busted her out. So she did have all her injuries and her brain scrambled around.Β
According to the Wiki, anyway. (: From what I remember of the logs that was the case.Β

Only wound she didn't have by the time she was done in the Big MT was her throat scar, which was the result of Dean Domino trapping her in the auto-doc you find her in and programming it to rewire her vocal chords to sound identical to Vera Keyes for the sake of unlocking Sinclair's vault.

This is very nice work, and it's awesome to see scenes from "offscreen" being shown like this, the rescue of Christine by Ulysses from the medical research center at Big Mountain. Poor woman went through a lot, and she kept punishing herself.

Oh yes I agree. My comic will have A LOT of that in it. I wanted to expand on the things the game didn't seem to have much time for. Joshua Graham's past, Caesar, Calhoun, Boone and his wife, Cass and her caravan, Pre-Divide, etc.

Christine stays behind at the casino sorta like a body guard. she was also locked in an Auto-Doc in the Villa's Medical District by Dean Domino, where her vocal cords were torn out. She later regains use of her voice when the operation is completed by the Auto-Doc in Vera Keyes' hotel room. I know i just made a spoiler e -e

I know that. But in all fairness that was a pretty half arsed closing sequence to her story. In my opinion anyway

I know she stayed around and "watched over" the Sierra Madre, but I agree. That wasn't an impressive ending at all. In the comic I may come up with something a little more player headcanon friendly. I had considered something with Veronica, since it was implied she was her long lost lover.

Yes that was a very unsubtle hint on their love. one thing I can think of is possibly they reunite possibly via the word that the Courier had died/disappeared and all he helped cheesily meet in one place
