Description
* * *Ei-en was nervous and couldnt hide it. The police officer studied his driver's license and looked at him, comparing the photo. Ei-en stared at him back and added:
- i had my hair dyed that time.
The officer winced and put the driver's license into his own pocket. Ei-en's eyes widened in shock.

ART THEFT is a big threat to all of artists and I have been ripped-off myself. I am not sure you realize this but your work is not properly copyrighted under Internal Copyright Convention & Law. If you wish to fully protect yourself, hear i what is required:
Your watermarks are fine, but they, and the DA copyright notice under the artwork does not legally copyright the art to you.
It is required that your Copyright Signature be placed ON the image being posted on the internet [NOT ON YOUR ORIGINAL].
The Signature must contain three things.
1. Your Tradename or Legal Name (including DA Name). It is best to use the name of your business or your legal name.
2. The Β© symbol AS SHOWN.
3. The year you produced the art, followed by each year you edit it.
EXAMPLES:
Sei-ten@2011
Β©Sei-ten 2011
Β©2011 Sei-ten
Etc.
The three required elements can be in any order, with or without punctuation, can be hand-drawn or printed, any size, can be semi-tranparent (as long as it can be read), Rendered in artistic ways, etc.

Thank you. I use big watermarks to prevent obvious art theft (thieves have little knowledge as far as i know and it's hard to remove a big watermark).
And.. i think earlier DA had these Β© symbols under the artworks oops they are gone..

You are most welcome. The Β© notice under the art was called a copyright NOTICE, but it is the copyright signature on your posted art itself that legally copyrights the art to you. Do yu see the distinction? One is like a warning, and the other is like a legal stamp of ownership.
Big watermarks do deter the casual thief, and you did well with that. Frankly I clean the water marks out fairly easily. But people who know how are not likely to expend all the time it takes to do that, unless it is a high target piece. It just depends on how badly someone needs it, or wants an element from your art.
As long as you do not post anything over 72 dpi, and no really big physical dimensions. That limits it to web theft.
It is very difficult to deter theft completely, but if you do what you are already doing, but also add your copyright signature, you will deter all but the most determined of thieves. You still want to be able to show us your talent, which is very good by-the-way.
There are some artists I have seen who have used creativity in their copyright signature, as seen here:

oh thank you very much again. I see what you mean. I never really thought someone would consideder stealing my pics, though. But i'll add that sign to my most popular cat photos.

This is my favorite of your gallery. I thought I left a comment before but I obviously messed it up.
What I really like about this piece is your use of light. It is smart to change the light's hue, for focus. Instead of using the violet bias throughout, using the yellow hue on the face of the youth effectively does a refocusing, causing the eye to stat at the larger violet biases light source, then traveling to the yellow one. This creates dynamic energy in a pieceβmovement.
It also widened the color range of the piece, the wider color ranges are automatically more pleasing to most eyes. Very good work.

"If you steal or use without my written permission, i'll find and raep you. " <--- This more seems to me like a "Steal it, publish it everywhere, get raped = YAY!" xD, no serious getting raped is not as much fun as many think (as a roleplay it is
)
