Appearance: Asa is a Spirit Guardian, hailing from the land of Nilou. He’s quite tall for an average Spirit with his height at about 5’8 and is athletically lean. He has the basic anatomy of a normal Spirit, which are the white fur, two paws with three digits on each and a pair of hooves. He has a pair of lopped-ears and a pair of frills on his forehead.
Like most spirits, Asa does radiate a glow as well; a light pinkish color as opposed to Nibel’s and Niwen’s Spirits who glow a light blue color. There are two notable things on Asa that makes him stand out a bit more; the two pink crystals on his body, the small one on his forehead and the larger one on his chest. These crystals cannot be broken, chipped off or shatter through normal means.
Personality Description: Asa, in broad terms, is a very serious person. He sees anything that isn’t part of his main objective as an obstacle and a chore, accounting even forming a friendship as such. He can set one thing as a priority and will completely set aside everything else to prioritize on said thing. Asa is stern and stoic and will almost never tolerate any kinds of shenanigans.
Alongside that, Asa is stubbornly persistent. He will achieve whatever goal he has set his eyes on no matter what, even if it takes his own life. This goes in tandem with his bravery, in that he has absolutely no fear of facing whatever dangers are ahead of him.
Asa also has an incredibly short fuse and is susceptible to anger very quickly, though that is something he is currently trying to improve upon. That being said, you do not want to be the target of his anger. Despite how incredibly stoic he is, Asa is very capable of expressing his emotions especially when under really bad stress, to which he responds to by lashing out in a flurry of crystallized-blade swings into the air.
Despite all of this however, if you can manage to break through his really tough exterior, you will find that he's a rather gentle and kind spirit who values the lives of those around him. He’s rough because he’s been taught to be rough but doesn’t belittle those weaker than him. He knows his strength and uses it carefully so as to not scare off harmless and innocent creatures. He acts like this so that everyone will know that he is dependable and will protect those he sees as friends and family.
Asa is a quiet spirit, only speaking when it is necessary and usually preferring silence. You wouldn’t have one-sided conversations with him however. He’s a great listener and will answer your woes in true honesty. Asa rarely tells lies and will straight up tell you whatever is on his mind.
Another thing to know about Asa is that he is a strategist. He does not use his Light with reckless abandon as contrary as his Light-infused emotional outbursts are. Instead he does careful planning and will try to minimize unnecessary damage as much as he can. Usually that means he will always go straight to the killing blow, not wanting to extend the pain of a creature for a longer time.
Overall, Asa can be seen as an unapproachable Spirit at first with how stern he is. He is very hot-tempered and persistent, but if you can break through that roughness, Asa is a kind person who cares about his friends and family and will stop at nothing to protect them.
Abilities
Crystallize: Asa is unique in that he can form his Light into solid matter in the form of translucent crystals. He can create various amounts of crystal objects that pertain to certain situations such as a crystal blade for combat, a crystallized platform for traversal and many more. The amount and size of crystals Asa can create are dependent on his own energy, and any crystals currently existing will continuously drain his energy until he's out or until he shatters them himself.
Afterimage: A movement ability where Asa can dash in a direction at a blindingly fast speed, leaving behind a crystallized visage of himself at his prior location. When something comes within its vicinity, it will explode. A maximum of three Afterimages can be done before Asa’s energy is spent.
Unbreakable Wrath: This ability will only activate when Asa loses control of his emotions. The crystals on his head and chest will begin growing at an uncontrollable rate, creating what is essentially a crystallized carapace on one half of his body. The unstable growth of these crystals will form a gigantic jagged blade that covers his entire arm. During this state, Asa becomes enraged and will attack everything that dares to threaten him.
