9 x 12" GraphiteWatercolor Paper (don't ask)
So I don't hate it.
That has to count for something.
I thought this would be quicker and easier than it was, but it wasn't deadly. It got a bit boring in certain parts, but overall I think I'd like to draw glass again... I'm annoyed that the white didn't come out white with the scan, but what can I do.
And man, graphite pencils are demon spawn sometimes, but had to use them here. I don't know if I could have done this in conte unless I would have gone way bigger in size.

Haha I know what you mean about patience! It got really boring about half way through, and I wasn't sure whether I'd actually finish it. I have a bad habit of either rushing or just leaving things once I get bored. It's not for nothing that I have 5 unfinished paintings and 3 unfinished drawings lying around

That's really good. Never tried glass myself, but I know it's supposed to be very difficult. You got it perfect.
I don't want to be too critical, but I have to do it.
There's something not quite right about the bottom. The glass is perfect, it's the shadow, or lack of.
The light bit on the left makes the glass look like it's floating. Or is it the dark shadow on the bottom right, being slightly too dark? I covered up the shadow and it seems to sit better.
Try flipping the image and you'll see what I mean. You're probably too familiar with it.

Yeah you're right about that one, the bottom left shadow isn't dark enough. It looks a bit better in the actual drawing but it's pretty washed out here, as are some of the other dark tones. I didn't notice it before, maybe I'll try to fiddle with it again.

You should do. It's a very minor correction, for what, otherwise, is a very nice pic. Fuck these bloody commas. That seems like way too many.

I was waiting for a re-submit. I assume you've done something. It looks better, but still not quite right.
I know how fucking awful scanners are. I've been on one all night. These bloody aceo's are way too small to photo and they just come out absolutely shit on the scanner. Way too harsh and over exposed and blobby.
I've actually put a bit of effort into an aceo and it looks quite good, but I won't be submitting it to DA, 'cos it looks so shit.

Ah well, I'm not bothering again, it's good enough. And yeah, they have a lovely way of chewing stuff up, or showing up the things that you'd never notice if you were looking at the drawing itself
