Il est le fils de Sayu et Neji, et également le premier Hyuuga à avoir le sang chaud dans cette famille. Il a un caractère franc et direct, ainsi qu'un langage pour le moins familier (peu de personnes oseraient hurler "va te faire foutre !!" à Hiashi... mais visiblement, Ryuusuke l'a fait. Charmant jeune homme......)
