I miss it, the old Eeveelution Squad. From Chapters 1 to 4, those will never be topped.
Imma be judging based on rough memory so I might get a few things off or miss some details, I’m only pointing out major things that happened.
Chapter 1-4: The Golden Era
Chapters 1-4 was when Eeveelution Squad had just started, there was no drama, no complex storyline, no comic dub and PKM-150 was around 15-16 years of age when he started. The comic started off great, the story seemed quite simple, infact, there were no signs of the berserker storyline at all. The storyline was just the life of a squad of eeveelutions. The characters were great, the story was good and everything all around seemed pretty great, it was golden!
Special Chapters 1-6: The Dark Era
SC 1-6 was when the storyline got a whole lot different, the introduction of the berserker storyline came into place, but it wasn’t as complex as it is today. The backstories contained death and dark themes all because PKM-150 was naive and decided to change the entire story because of one person who said his story was not good enough.
Some of the backstories were decent and made for some great character development. However some backstories made some characters worse. I won’t specify who though. It was also around SC 5-6 that the comic dub came around.
Chapter 5: A Short Break
Special Chapter 6 was supposed to be the last special chapter before chapter 5 - 10 was made, unfortunately only chapter 5 got started and finished. Anywhoo, chapter 5 was like a short break from the somewhat dark themes of the special chapters, it was quite wholesome and almost gave off the same vibe from chapters 1-4 back when Eeveelution Squad was in its golden age. After chapter 5 ended though, it was nothing but special chapters from then on, and things got so...so much worse.
Special Chapters 7-11: The Downfall Era
These special chapters was around a time where a lot of drama unfolded, CC the glaceon was added into the story and fans were outraged to the point where PKM-150 got someone to help him try and change CC the glaceon to make her fit into the story, but it didn’t work as well as expected. The imposter also arose around the start of SC 7 and continued to steal PKM-150’s identity to this day in attempts to make him look bad.
This was also a time where many journals got released and some special comics, all of them would alter the storyline severely by extending it and making it far more complex and convoluted. All of a sudden there were aliens and light orbs and turbo mode and all types of new things(yes turbo wasn’t really new but we never saw much of it until this time). PKM-150 also gained massive following growing from 10,000 to nearing 20,000 followers during these special chapters. Drama arose between people in the comic dub as-well as MickeyMario used PKM-150 for his jealousy and fear of being overtaken.
PKM-150 eventually addressed all of it publicly in October/Novemeber 2020, PKM’s helper Silver also left the community during this era. Some special chapters were very meh but also had quite a few dark moments including flashbacks, deaths, a whole war happening behind the scenes and tons of lore kept being added.
Overtime the story kept getting worse and worse until...
Special Chapter 12: The End of Eeveelution Squad
Special Chapter 12 was separated into 2 parts. One part covering the wholesome stuff and the other part being the biggest exposition dump ever which is kinda ludicrous. The good side was ok and might be the proper way to end the comic there if you just ignore SC 12b. During new years PKM stated that Eeveelution Squad was cancelled and that a reboot was being made, the reason: PKM-150 was not happy with how the comic had turned out after all this time and wanted to have a fresh start, a second chance at recreating the comic in the same style it was meant to be made in back in chapters 1-4. SC 12b ending isn’t known yet but so far a-lot of random events have unfolded suddenly, in short terms its a rushed ending. Special Chapter 12b might be the last one we get before the reboot but special chapter 12a feels like a true ending.
Eeveelution Squad Reboot: A Second Chance
When the next anniversary comes it will finally mark the ending of the original Eeveelution Squad, soon PKM-150 will be no more and instead it will just be [UNKNOWN]. PKM-150 has a second chance at making a true masterpiece this time, we are finally going to get to see the true Eeveelution Squad...

I dont think pkm will f up the second chance. Hes already mature now, and he already know all hie past mistakes. So the chance of him screwing the reboot up is small

He said the reboot is supposed to be the comic in its original form, the original story without any altercations made by fans or anything.
If thats the case then the berserker story might be altered or could even be removed entirely because it was added after chapter 4, the exact same time PKM-150 was told to make his story darker
Honestly if the berserker storyline was just altered severely to be simpler instead of removed i would love that, this involves removing things from this list
1. The Alien Deoxys Berserker subplot
2. Speeds Turbo Boost (This wasn’t part of the original story at all)
3. No betrayal arcs or anything of the sort.
4. No catergory 1.5’s or mutant berserkers.
5. The berserker story must be made far simpler than it used to be because right now its just completely fucked, what with all the things i just mentioned above plus maybe all the light orb stuff if that wasnt part of the original storyline.
6. No special chapters! This is controversial but seriously, most of the stuff that was meant to be done in main chapters has already happened in most special chapters which is very counterproductive especially because all that stuff happened before the comic was even cancelled! Maybe the backstory special chapters could stay but only if they were altered to fit everything else on this list.
7. Don’t have like 1,000 subtle cliches throughout the whole comic. Pretty sure someone pointed out alot of cliches before in a parody of cinema sins.
8. Speed CANNOT be a child soldier or have any of those iron suits or be any type of soldier like that, he was already a champion before he was even a teenager for gods sake, all that war stuff just made him boring with little to no emotion at all.
9. Speeds regenerative immortality. Just no. If it was weakened to where he cannot come back to life at all with a new body then it would be infinitely times better better because.
10. No bringing dead characters back to life! (e.g frost or Speed or anyone)
11. Alan cannot adopt a pack or children in the original timeline because thats just filler for both the original timeline and the current timeline as we have seen.
12. Last one, but also the easiest one, DO NOT make the reboot a new timeline after the original comic! Just make the reboot this same timeline just with a whole different and improved story.
These are all the things I can think of which were not part of the original story and could also just better the plot more, I don’t want anyone saying I’m forcing him to change the story because I can’t, I’m just giving him some brutally honest advice.

Hmm but also, i think pkm will be good watever he picks. Even if he continues12b even if its confusing im ok with it. He also said that he doesnt care anymore about those weird hates and requests and such, he just wanna do his hobby, no matter what people say. And j agree with him. Its his life, hence why the reboot is happening

If PKM-150 did continue from 12b i would just stop reading because 12b is basically the worst chapter so far because of all the nonsensical stuff thats happened in it, there would literally be no turning back, the story cannot be fixed, it could either remain as it is or just get even worse somehow.
But thats if he doesn’t do the reboot, which he is doing the reboot so Im happy. As long as some things on this list get removed I’ll be able to actually read it with a smile on my face. Because you have to admit some of the things on the list are true. I’m not even saying that as in I just want to be right I’m being legit here. :/
Anyway, PKM-150 has said that the reboot will be different in terms of story. Its not about the fact that he’s changing the story, its how he chooses to change the story, because he could either fix it and make it better or somehow make it even worse than it is rn in the original comic. That would also just make me stop reading entirely if he makes the reboot story somehow worse like can you imagine??

Yeah, also am i the only one who thinks Special Chapter 12b should just be Special Chapter 13 because of how damn long it is? Plus special chapter 12a might as well be an alternate ending because it actually feels like a nice ending, if anything you could just choose to completely ignore 12b and pretend that 12a is the actual ending.
