Actually that kills it permanently before it could multiply. By killing in the wrong way, it means onlyΒ their temporary body was destroyed. With the core still intact, they can multiply, leave the core and find a new body.

Something I had on my mind recently.... this so called virus is acting more like a parasite then an actual virus... kinda like the venom symbiote from Spider-Man.
1) it infects Pokemon as a mass of material before entering them
2) it feeds off the blood of itβs victims and take over the leftover husk when they die
3) similar to the symbiote, it improves the abilities of its host ( particularly special attack and attack)
4) the ability for them to communicate with their host
If it is a virus, a vaccine would allow Pokemon to become immune and prevent it from working. If it was a parasite, cure or immunizing would be difficult altogether. Of course calling it virus would be a misconception if they thought it spread around like one if most mons donβt know how it is spread.

Jokes aside, is surprising to see that there is still pokemon with the same berserker's condition as Flare, and nobody knows if they have even known one and didn't noticed. If they manage to find one of the "good berserker" pokemons left, yeah, it would surely help to tell the truth to the flareon and not freak out (as much)

the thing is we knows that flare (the flarieon) knows that he has something wrong with him. we see this when he and leaf (the leafion) are talking together in the latest main chapter. so he wouldn't freak out that much, he would be more confused. in addition, we don't know enough about the virus to say that another infected could help flare control it. for all we know each virus is different from creation or from the moment they link to a host. so until we know that info we can't say for sure if finding another infected like flare would help or make thing even worse.Β
