Just because he is a unicorn doesnt mean he is pure. His hard beginning to life has made him grow into a self serving and entitled snob who doesnt like to share his knowledge or physical items with just anybody. Maybe even no one at all. However, he is determined and able to care for himself, even if he'd rather someone else do it. He jumps at the chance to get things out of people, be it money, rides, sex, and other various favors, it doesnt matter as long as its free and his. He isnt one to scoff at poorer souls than him, but it would take a lot of pity on his half to give them something like a meal.
