ALSO NOTING Reinstar has kittypet roots, and she had extensive contact with twolegs before joining SunClan and before forming DawnClan, she use to lurk in the nearby city and even recruited most of the cats that made up DawnClan from the alley cats in the city and the cats from a nearby housing community. Kithood|
She was born on a farm in Leaf-fall and lived a rather happy life up until she went out to explore the forest outside of the farm's territory with her younger brother. The two eventually got lost and traveled deep into the forest into the section where a group of cats claimed it as their territory. She tried to explain they had gotten lost and just wanted help getting back home but the two cats who found them decided to take them back to their camp where their leader, a large tabby tom that went by the name Striker, told them that if they could find their way back in a certain amount of time then they could go back, otherwise they would go hunting for them and kill them. She took the offer and tried to lead Jay back home, figuring out how to follow their scent. She wasn't too good at it since she was never taught to hunt properly but she managed to find the stretch of grass that lead to their farm hours later. Right when they were about to run for it, two of the cats from the group that had been following them jumped out and stopped them from running to safety. One was reaching for her brother so she ran her sharp little claws down the side of his face, giving Jay enough time to scurry away to the fence around the farm's field. While she had made sure her brother was safe the other cat grabbed her by the scruff and carried her back to their camp, figuring Striker would want to kill her himself. Striker was more amused by the fact such a small she-cat caused such a problem for the grown toms so he decided to keep her, planning to make her one of them.

Apprenticeship|
She was given the name Rain and put right into training. The training consisted of getting up before the sun and getting pummled by Striker until she couldn't stand. He gave her nearly every scar on her body, mind, and personality and turned her cold blooded like the rest of the group. They killed all kinds of creatures for sport, other cats, dogs, foxes, and even went after badgers if they were in a big enough group. After moons of being held captive she found Jay looking for her, thinking he was big enough to help her get away. A cat from the group saw them talking and ran back to Striker, telling him what was going on, and he led some of the others with him to kill them both. She heard them coming and told her brother to run and get the dogs that lived on the farm, sure they could take care of the cats since they were bigger and more built than the dogs they had killed for sport. He ran off and before he could come back the others found her and attcked. She was able to kill a few of them before more showed up. She was going to run for it but her brother came back with the dogs which attacked them for her. During the fighting she looked for Striker, seeing him sneaking up on her brother who was keeping himself away from everything. She ran over and cut in front of him, fighting him herself. She managed to pin him and ripped his throat out before looking back and seeing the cats that hadn't been killed were running away from the dogs. Once they were gone she went back to the farm with Jay, her old personality having started to come back, and was expecting to be welcomed back with love from her parents. Once Jay called for them and they came outside they instantly rejected their daughter, not wanting her near them or the farm. They chased her away with harsh words and she slipped back out into the forest.

Warriorhood|
She wandered through it for almost a moon, making sure to stay away from where the group's territory had been, and eventually went through the city to the other side where another forest was. She met a smokey gray tom who went by the name Smokeeyes since he had a problem with his sight due to a fire from when he was smaller. He took her in and let her join his own group of cats, all of them liking her right away even if she looked beaten up and scrawny. The group had taken on a sort of clan-like method to how they lived after Smokeeyes and some other cats had come across them when he was younger so they adapted it to their own way of life. After a few weeks of her being with them, Smokeeyes renamed her as 'Reinsong', trying to give her a confidence boost by replacing 'Rain' with 'Rein', claiming she would be the leader of them once she was older, the sounds of the group living happily being the song of her rein. He eventually made her his 'deputy'. Everything was going great, she had her first apprentice who was named Boulderrush, and seemed like a normal cat again, until a rival group of cats started causing problems for them, making them start fights and arguments over who had the right to certain prey. Things had gotten so bad Smokeeyes and Reinsong had put together a large group of Front liners (Smokeeye's version of Warriors) and went into battle with the other cats. During the battle, Smokeeyes had been murdered by one of his own cats, Rustclaw, who was done with how he ran the group. They won the battle and Reinsong found Smokeeyes dead behind a boulder. Rustclaw gathered a few of the cats and lead them to the two, pinning the death on the shecat. Due to the fact they knew Reinsong had a problem, her split personality being the one who actually fought for her, they believed him and chased her off. She didnt have it in her to go against them after losing the tom she loved like an older brother.
After wandering for a few moons Reinsong came across a few stray cats and slowly began creating her own group, serving as their leader. They grew strong and had adapted the same Clan Life philosophy she had come accustom to. However, despite how strong her new clan was, her old one, now ran by Rustclaw, had found where they were and ambushed them. As usual while fighting, she blacked out. Her split personality took over and when she regained consciousness she was soaked in blood and all her accounted clan mates were murdered. Ashamed of herself, she ran from her territory and went on for days before collapsing in RuinClan territory. The deputy found her passed out and carried her to their camp where she was taken great care of. Reinsong was well liked by the whole clan and was begged to stay, even after she announced her problem with fighting. This clan accepted her, all of her.
The leader took her under his wing and fully trained her as a warrior. She became so well adjusted that she was eventually made deputy after the previous one died of a bad bought of greencough.
