I LOVE the ThunderCats 2011 version so much I've decided to do what I should've done a long time ago...Every once in a while I've decided I'm going to do a series of "What could've been..." concept style fan art based on the descriptions provided by the Art Director Dan Norton of how they had intended to continue and finish the story of 2011. Will this bring the 2011 version back? Very unlikely but by showing my appreciation for it's very existance I hope it brings some closure to this sad tale.

To begin series here's a sketch I did of Tygra, Cheetara and Bengali (who was going to be their young son in this version). Since there was going to be two time-skips I tried to age up Tygra and Cheetara a bit by also attempting to keep the 2011 style of theirs too. I might attempt another Tygra, Cheetara and Bengali sketch in a more "badass/fighting" poses but for now just wanted to emphasise the 3 of them being a family as what was originally intended for them in season 2.
