I was watching How I Met Your Mother on Netflix while working on my Invincible redesign for Project Rooftop...deadline looming nearer and nearer! I realized I'm an even bigger hopeless romantic than Ted! I try to fight it...but good grief, I really am! If the show teaches me anything, it's that being one is okay...also, that my grown up voice will be Bob Sagget! I also guess that means either Ryan or David are Barney, and I think Robert and Tiffany are Marshall and Lilly?

Anyway, many of you probably think I'm being extremely disrespectful with Invincible in these joke redesigns. What you don't understand is that I've known Cory and Robert for years. Cory is one of my virtual mentors. So this is all in good fun.

Plus, in the past, Project Rooftop contests and generally any contest used to rattle my cage. It instantly stopped being fun, I'd tense up, and an inferior product would come out.

I'm guessing you can figure out what direction I'm really going with from this page...hopefully you can!

I'll explain the details of my thought process. There's ZERO chance I'll win, because it's a simple change. But to be honest, I'm not trying to win, I'm trying to stay within the rules...NOT make "Laser claw billion pack Wolverine." Cory has always kept the designs sleek, SIMPLE, and I've already seen insane amounts of overly technical designs. Which is cool, it's just not Invincible. I'm really a purist when it comes to Invincible, I've been reading the book since the first issue came out. Not a bandwagon, or late jump-on reader. So I just wanted to have fun, and stay true to the spirit of the character!
