I like what I'm reading in this. a man of faith, eyes closed, complacent and apathetic waiting for god to make it better, has me thinking of the bad religion song.
"Faith alone won't sustain us anymore"

I think alot of the worlds faith's are seeming outdated to the new generations of kids. I do not know if that is a good or bad thing?

Oh, wow. That's plaster? Did you pour it or pack it over a skeleton?
Beautiful.

Thanks - I sculpted it in Roma Plastalene modeling clay, then poured a copy in plaster that was carved and sanded to refine it.

Thank you for answering my question. *Scribbles notes in notebook.*
He just looks so... I don't know. He doesn't look like plaster. And his restful nature speaks great volumes. It's a wonderful piece all around.
