wow I love the way you colored Blaze here, it's so nice. A great mix of crisp next to lovely smooth shading. It's very very nice. The angle she's at is really good too!

Why does Blaze's (her genie version, I know) wear a fake smile like that? I'm sorry, it just looks a little unnatural. :S
Anyway, I love the coloring aswel, the text isn't bad either.

The real reason: It's really hard to draw mouths in any other expression from that angle.

Wait. So why did she need to die again? With 1001 Rouge gone, wouldn't she be free of the brainwashing? And couldn't she have been bonded to ANOTHER object if need be? And when she says "trap here forever" what is here?
And Silver is gonna pay for Sonic not explaining to Silver that the 1001 Nights characters are all just VERSIONS of the people on mobius, not those people themselves.
And while Ali Baba isn't Tails... they have the same heart... wouldn't Sonic want to at least say goodbye to him emotionally? Or maybe confessing to 1001 Amy made him realize that's cheating.
I said already how Erazor Jinn was able to bring the genie of the ring back to life, so I won't go into that debate again.
I wonder what would look cooler. 1001 Rouge being brainwashed into a perky side kick for 1001 Amy. Or on top of the brainwashing is turned into the 1001 version of Cream to complete the parallel of 1001 Amy being her new master.
How's THAT for surprises?

Because the Sorceress isn't really dead, her binding still holds. But she's inside the vase that Blaze was being kept in. So Blaze is pretty much stuck in standby mode unless somebody kills her... that's why.
Yeah, Sonic sucks at explaining stuff in this comic. It's just one of his character traits.
I'm really unhappy with the way I treated Ali and Sinbad in this story... it really would have been better to leave them out, honestly. Sonic's ding his best to convince himself they're not even real right now, I think. Perhaps that's why he was able to confess to Morgianna.
I don't know how Erazor did that, though it didn't really seem like Shahra was very affected by being killed... she just kept on "helping" in the final bossfight.

While they are characters in a story, they have been give their own life, their own spirits, otherwise they wouldn't appear as mobians from the real world.
My money is on that the wind genie would have appeared as Sonic if he had become solid.

That could have been just a game-play mechanic. Or maybe she simply lost the ability to assume a material form.

If she's a genie now bound by the will of her master. Couldn't she just be ordered to break the binding that she placed on her? She'd be HAPPY to do it now.
I know that still leaves the problem of before but--
Sigh.
I know the POINT was to have Silver see a version of Blaze die, screwing him in the head. And thus Sonic realizing that his silent treatment to Silver was backfiring.
I just felt I needed to point out some things I wasn't trying to roadblock what you were aiming for in the story.
Now I have a mental image of The Sorcerers in the bottle trying to get out, then her attire changing to that of a djinn, then her personality altering to polite, submissive and perk, and finally her body changing into the 1001 version of Cream, at which point Morgianna pulls the cork and the djinn emerges to faithfully serve her new master.

I've got to agree with you, there's far too many holes in this story for my taste. But as it's almost over anyway, I just want to get thought it and into the material that's actually been thought through.
I don't know if the new improved Genie Rouge would be able to lift the binding spell or not... even if she took off the mind control, Blaze would still be stuck as a bound djinn (in this continuity, that's permanent no matter what) so it wouldn't improve the situation much, if at all.
And you just wait 'till you see the really traumatizing part of this story for Silver. Because this isn't it.

I still think my idea of Creamification of 1001 Rouge would be a riot...
I know I'm a lover of mental change and TF. But I do think it fits here.
And in particular my theory for the author's alternate motive for all this happening.

Awwww...poor....all three of them! Shadz/Uhu for having the onus to have to do the deed, Blaze/Fouh for having no other option, and Silv for having to watch somebody that LOOKS like his friend kill herself. D: But such is the case with life. No easy decisions.
