Issue 8, Page 11.ARGH. FRIGGIN' FINALLY. I am SO GLAD summer school is almost over and I can get back to work. I want to get onto the really good part of this story arc! Be grateful that I got this page out this week... I spent all weekend coloring it, so I'll be spending the 4th of July doing homework instead of abusing my God-given 'Murrican right to blow things up.

Hoy many layers do you have before you finally flatten the image? Considering the lighten and darkening, plus the shine on their bodies... I am guessing about 6 or 7. Perhaps more. In any case, the shading is well placed, do you use any lighting examples such as modeling programs to tell where the light shines on them or do you just draw from experiance?

With everything included, I think it usually comes to around 80-something. It can be a bit more or less than that.

Wow... Do you design the page entirely or do you draw each panel seperatly and then place them in the picture? I have tried to create a small comic of my own, though not that sucsessful. I use around 7 layers a panel, though isn't that complex. You are very dedicated to making great artwork and it shows.

I draw the whole thing together, though I'll have different elements separated like the background never shares any layers with the character art or special effects. That's where the layers start to add up.

If you like relationship stuff, yes. If you're looking for action, that'll start in two pages and continue in the next issue (which isn't actually that far off). Personally I'm looking forward to issue nine.
