Mephiles was the one who knew how to time travel using Chaos Control and now that he's been totally erased from the timeline, he never had the chance to show anybody else how to do it... it's likely that the knowledge has been lost. There's other forms of time travel in the universe, but they're either inaccessible or have big limitations.

You're right, though-- Sonic really should have tried time travel. Unfortunately it would really derail the story at this point, so I have my continuity excuse up there. I could see him trying time travel early on, but at this point in the story he'd probably not try it out of concern that it would destroy too much of the present.

Well Chaos control never was an option really because 06 made it clear that Chaos control based time travels can't change history (Mephiles also only used the emerald to increase his (being part of the god of time) natural time manipulation ability) and with 06 apparently already happened in your continuity is Solaris obviously also not an option.

No one would no about time eater so he isn't a factor ether remaining the times stones with allow there user consequences free to play around with time it self like there like and with out the risk of undoing your self given that no matter how time changed in CD Sonic was never effected him self and was clearly aware of the changes he made with make them the biggest issue here there only limit is that there only accessible ones a year when Little planet appears over never lake on Mirage island.

The other one is (I now using game logic I haven't read the secret rings part of your story yet) are the 7 world ring given there user limitless realty bending power (he wouldn't even need to time travel with them he could just raise them from the dead) only limit is that someone live needs to be sacrificed to gain control over the rings (and After all that happens am I sure that shadow wouldn't mind be sacrificed to undo all that happens while he was under mind control). Well and there would also be Merlina if Black night happen who was seen to have to ability to bring the dead back to live with the scabbard Excalibur (with should if given to sonic also give him is body back because the 

scabbard gives immortality to its owner body and all) and speaking of Excalibur he does say that there is nothing that Excalibur can't cut through so he should also be able to change time.

Also a side note why would he fear to destroy a present that's that bad (end of all existence thanks to the lack of chaos emeralds) there is barley anything worth saving about the current state of realty.

Also just a general thing that I would like to say I hated the fact that the comic begins with Amy, Tails and Knuckles dead and focuses mainly of the quot on quot badass characters I know this is your comic but I have seen this set up so often and its the main reason why I didn't start reading the comic until yesterday because this opening directly makes my mind went to the oh god is one of this stories that try to out edge Shadow and 06 combined and while I like this games this just a jump the shark moment for me were it fells to me like the writer thinks these characters aren't cool and edgey enough for my Dark story. (with is to promote here the fan comic Darkness is not all black from satoshiMADNESS because it actually focuses for a good part of charters that you see in this darker story little to never (especially alive and not just as dead reasons to make sonic darker) Like Tails and Cream)

I started writing this when I was 14 (ten years ago) and it is definitely in the "dark and edgy" camp of fan-stories, for better or worse. Things are bleak, and they're gonna get a lot bleaker before the end. I do lay off the gratuitous murdering, these days I really dislike the lack of tact and respect for characters that's present in the opening scenes (it was done more as an opportunity to make a clean break with the old canon and explore less-developed character relationships in more detail, but the execution is... very literal). When I started writing, I had a pretty limited knowledge of the franchise and a lot of the story's focus and tone is built around Sonic 06's plot. Since then I've learned a lot and worked hard to try to build up to something greater and more productive, but it's still a work-in-progress. If that's not your cup of tea, this is going to be a hard read for you. I just don't wanna see a reader get frustrated by something they didn't know they were getting into, that's never fun.

If you wanna see some of my more recent, and tonally lighter/canonical Sonic-verse writing, I'd check out Sonic Universe #79-82, and my upcoming episode on Sonic Boom.

Yes I am my self to to sure how much I am going to like this story mainly because this opening is just a really bad start for me (and don't even get me started how dumb the idea that shadow could beat Sonic, Tails and knuckles at the same time is hell 2 of the 4 that he apparently killed would be enough to beat him and sonic dwarfs the so called Ultimate live form when it comes down to pur power and speed) 

To your official story or the Archie comics with the Silver age.

It was nice but if I have to be honest did I have some bigger issues with it some were part of the story it self some were more a problem with a statement that Ian did when the new universe started. This would be namely:

(Not necessary your flats) That Ian said that the event from the games happen just like in the games yet Silvers future as presented in this story contradict this because silver calls his future in Colors Ds a paradise (But I have to admit that a Dystopien world (even through I am not a big fan of this kind of worlds in stories) is more original than just another generic fire world) But I still find this less of an issue as that Angle island is still flying with really aggravates me because its thing like this that causes the problem that many people still don't get that angle island stayed crashed after SA1 super sonic story. And I got the main story already spoilered with is poisonous for a story that work with lost of mystery with than caused that I couldn't fully enjoy the story. And I can't really say why but I find the story rather boring to read at parts and I really don't know why.

(problems with in the story) Silver is so under powered its nearly as bad as with Cream and chess I mean he the guy that goes toe to toe with guys like sonic, knuckles and shadow the guy that trashes entire armies of Eggman robots in 06 on his own has problems with a handful of security robots. That the counsel just happen to have a psychic power suppressing table is rather convenient for them. 

And can you tell me with episode of Boom exactly was written by you?
