Shadow Underground experimental page.(now THIS is a fan comic!)
Confused? You should be. This is a page of comic-y goodness I made for a class I'm currently taking. (This is three weeks early, no less). I had to make one page of a larger story using two other classmates' characters, so I chose an evil Robot dude and a Dragon. Because Dragons (and Robots) are awesome. So don't be looking for a very coherent story; I haven't really though of one.
Good Lord, that inking took forever! I'm trying out using brushes and nib pens. Tell my what you think!

Photoshop Elements, and a tablet. I put up a coloring tutorial just a couple days ago for details, though it's a slightly different method.

I don't care what you say EvanStanley but I want you to be in the Archie Sonic Comics department and be their penciller artist! Obviously you got the talent to do all jobs at once (pencilling, inking, shading & lettering) but you're nailing the composition and choice of panneling my friend.
Excellent page featuring Shadow the Hedgehog (still my favourite character! XD) and two other characters that are from your classmates! Man if I see your name on one of Archie Sonic Comics I'll buy it striaght away. Not only will I be entertained by the quality of your style but I can learn from it too!

The only advice I can share with you on this page is choice of font.
If you want to make it look more professional the type of fonts used and how they are shaped on each panel is important. Study those from your favourite comics and you'll nail an even more polished page!
Then again you don't have to take in what I say. XD ^^ Keep at it buddy!

Yeah ,I'm planning on going to blambot.com and getting some better comic fonts... Comic Sans MS can only go so far.
At this point in my life, working on the Archie Sonic comics would be a dream come true... But who knows what'll happen, I'm only 15.

More expression? Yeah, I'm trying to make my expressions better, but it's not easy. The dramatic shading helps make up for it on this page, I think.

I used a nib pen (kinda like the ones for calligraphy) and a tiny paintbrush-- I hate the pen, but love the paintbrush.
