Shadow Underground experimental page.(now THIS is a fan comic!)
Confused? You should be. This is a page of comic-y goodness I made for a class I'm currently taking. (This is three weeks early, no less). I had to make one page of a larger story using two other classmates' characters, so I chose an evil Robot dude and a Dragon. Because Dragons (and Robots) are awesome. So don't be looking for a very coherent story; I haven't really though of one.
Good Lord, that inking took forever! I'm trying out using brushes and nib pens. Tell my what you think!

Wow, a Shadow comic! Man, it's been a while since i've seen one of these and the person actually did a good job on it. This is brilliant work, I'm honored to know you...in some form. This is gonna be another good one, I can just tell. You have an excellent tallent for creating these comics, and I hope to see much more of this, Ghosts of the Future, and Tails Away. Wow, The inking is perfect! This would be a really awesome comic if continued, for I would really like to know Shadow's "true power." I know you have GOTF to tend too, but still. XD

I do. Here's one: Layers are your friends, but they take up more disk space. Always save a copy of your line art by itself as another file, just in case. Make sure you work with a higher-res then you need, but based on how the art is produced/scanned etc. Layer Clipping Groups are great ways to add shading to a character colored in the layer below. NEVER color on the actual line art, use a folder with colored layers above or below it, set the above layer to multiply, this allows more color mixing and effects.

Those are the Dragon's hands with the claws there. (Shadow Does NOT turn into a Dragon, because that would be silly). But in Ghosts of the Future, he does have sharp fingernails.

all I learn about drawing is clothes and other stupid things I don't use at all!

I'm taking a special High School course at the Academy of Art in San Francisco in Comic Book illustration. (Google it, they do have Online classes). Besides that, I've gotten pretty much all of my cartooning knowledge out of books. I'm sure you can find some books at the library, though I don't know if you would find the same books... Try searching for the author "Scott McCloud", and especially his title "Making Comics".
I took Scientific Illustration before I tried comics.

Oh... my... God.
That is incredible. I know nothin' about the scene(and I know I'm not supposed to XD), and I still think this is incredible.
The colouring with the shadows are brilliantly done, plus the use of the "Shadow the Hedgehog" symbol is a very nice touch.
The lines are a bit rough-looking, but I just think that's your style, and it works either way. (I like my lines smooth, that's a personal opinion, not a critique that'd be anything useful to you. 
I can't really say anything about what you can improve on, mate. I'm sorry.

No, I love clean lines.the fuzziness is because my pen kept getting caught on the paper, I was going too slow. Also, I'm gonna blame the photocopy machine. (First try at American Comic Book-style inking).
I splattered ink on the physical original of this page and erased it in the Shop of Photos.

Ahh, I gotcha... (Smooth lines are tricky, anyhow. :/ ) For a first attempt, it's still very impressive, keep that in mind.
